Project Summary / Description:
Basin scales ecosystem and carbon sink restoration and conservation to solve the climate, nature and carbon crises through the use of real estate investment fundamentals. Basin was officially founded in the fall 2021 based on the founder's 20 year career in commercial and investment real estate and love of nature and rivers.

How Project Affects Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions:
Replaces/avoids GHGs (e.g., projects that replace sources of GHGs, such as the burning of fossil fuels for electricity, heat, transport, or other energy uses), Reduces GHGs (e.g., projects that reduce sources of GHGs, such as through efficiency or other changes in consumption), Removes/stores GHGs (e.g., projects that capture, sequester, or otherwise enhance the "sinks" that accumulate and store GHGs)

Our project is built for local stakeholders to be able to source, build, own, and govern each project alongside of investors. Many our projects will be in low income areas which are polluted and contaminated or rural areas. We are focused on Biden's Justice 40 areas and using the Climate and Economic Justice Screening Tool daily.
