New Energy Nexus is an international non-profit that supports clean energy entrepreneurs with funds, accelerators, and networks. We started in California and also operate programs in New York, China, India, Southeast Asia, and East Africa. Winning this prize would aid in the expansion of our program in China focused on expanding clean energy innovation through strengthening and expanding our Chinese partnership on the ground, and implementing bi-lateral start up initiatives to foster cross-border collaboration.

New Energy Nexus is dedicated to empowering diverse entrepreneurs globally. The success of our initial programs in China have given the team the ability to focus on expansion and development of programs that will serve communities outside of the major cities, which is a key focus of programatic development in 2021. With support from groups like Keeling Curve, New Energy Nexus will be able to earmark resources specifically for the creation of programs that enable technology transfer and access in rural areas that are currently difficult to address. Further, our programming related to financial technology and the creation of greater collaboration across key stakeholders to foster expansion of FinTech will greater support the New Energy Nexus mission to empower diverse communities to participate in the clean energy economy by lowering hurdles related to the economics of clean energy integration.
