Project Summary / Description:
Our mission is to facilitate the removal of 1 Gt of CO2e annually with a profitable and rapidly deployable solution. Nature has already developed the best tool for capturing CO2 to biomass via photosynthesis. The problem is that it inevitably decomposes or is burned re-entering the atmosphere. Our vision is to provide a profitable, modular way of converting over 50% of the carbon contained in waste streams into high-value biocarbon products used for environmental remediation anywhere in the world. Every ton of our biocarbon directly removes 3.2tCO2e from the atmosphere, and enables another 3-10x tCO2e co-benefit in applications.
