Project Summary / Description:

In Kenya, the Energy, Industrial and transportation sectors have been the biggest offenders when it comes to greenhouses gases emissions and air pollution. This unabated and increasing carbon footprint is adding to the climate change challenge while the air pollution continues to take toll on the health of its citizenry. 

The key objective of our project is to prove the technical feasibility or field validation of our Carbofix Capture Technology to produce Hydrogen, from seaweeds generated biogas, of sufficient quality to be used in a fuel cell and stored.

We work with local women groups and Youth Community Based Organizations whom we pay for their training in seaweeds farming and then enter into an agreement for them to commit to supply (sell to) us as our feed-stock thus providing them a ready market for their produce. 

We also distribute affordable upgraded clean cooking methane gas to the households of our women groups at a subsidized cost
