Project Summary / Description:
CEARCH is a unique solution to consolidate Circular Economy grey literature and it solves the long existing basic problem where policy planning, business and investment decisions rely heavily on expert know-how from grey literature which is to a great extend wild content which is not easily and centrally available, and often enough overlooked. Three major innovative features are: 1. it uses crowd intelligence from stakeholders to control the quality of grey literature curated onto the database, to sieve out fake news and to provide relevance rating for instance 2. all curated publications are copied onto the database, digitised and assigned permanent link to ensure permanent visibility and accessibility 3. the database is enriched with precision search tools to help users find what they really are looking for, providing comprehensive search results and optimised search experience This idea emerged from a report submitted to the IPCC by the research team that the founder was involved in. The project's official founding date is 1 March 2021.

Impact on Underrepresented Groups:
The founder of the project was involved in a research team that submitted a report to the IPCC since May 2019 when she was 5 months pregnant. The report was officially published and submitted to the IPCC in October 2020 when her first born turned 1 year old. She then started to work on this project from November 2020 and it was accepted as the top 2.5% (5 top ideas out of 200+ applications) into Better Together Incubator Program (March - August 2021) which is funded by The Senate of Berlin and The European Social Fund. Ever since, she has been coworking with the now 2-year-old without family support (husband is working full-time, no family members in Berlin, child is not enrolled into nursery due to constant regulation change and personal concerns in the light of COVID). In the future, the project will be recruiting talents from most climate vulnerable and impacted regions such as South East Asia, South Asia, Africa and Pacific Islands. Our project is fully digital, hence it is highly doable.
