Project Summary / Description:

Our activities promote individual involvement by the community as a way of bringing solutions to community challenges. It was in one of the meetings that the issue of solid waste disposal came up, it had reached unbearable levels and we started looking for a solution. That's how we landed on information about Eco-friendly briquettes, went in for training, started saving and how the project was formed. We chose the carbonized type because wood charcoal users can easily adapt.

Because of our objective of transforming lives in communities, we have designed our project to support the community economically, we work mainly with youth and women (see photos attached). We believe that a diverse workforce signals an attractive work environment for talent, innovation and creativity and we are intentional about this.
