Project Summary / Description:

The project provides rural households a sustainable source of cooking, heating and drying form of energy to save trees and forests from being cut for fuelwood. Rural families instead are planting Pittosporum resineferum trees , which yields alkane oil rich in dihydroterpene, myrcene and heptane hydro -carbons, The tree makes in five to six years what millions of years takes to create ‚ that is to make petroleum.
