Project Summary / Description:

Rural areas that are located in completely off-grid locations lack proper connectivity and safety. With multiple government schemes and corporates willing to invest in rural inclusion through lighting projects powered by sustainable sources, the rural population has finally become a part of the society in a meaningful way. It is extremely important that the best utilization of this fund is being made by assuring that the lighting infrastructure being installed is beneficial to the users, is robust, sustainable in the real sense, easy to manufacture and maintain with long life expectancy and is cost-effective. India, including many other developing countries, does not have any standard methodology in place for illumination planning of any area. This leads to inappropriate lighting and excess wastage of energy.

We are looking at creating an impact in line with the Sustainable development goals of Good Health and Well-being (Safety), Innovation and Infrastructure & Sustainable Cities and Communities by ensuring high quality, cost-effective & robust lighting infrastructure. 
No body deserves to feel unsafe after 7PM. It is a shame that some of us do. And with the democratic distribution of illumination, safety and security (an extremel important necessity of life) will be ensured.
