Project Summary / Description:

The purpose of Dracoss is to provide a solution to the increasing water consumption by restaurants, homes, and gyms. The founder's Amen Allah Souli and Chokri Fatnassi recognized the need for a solution to reduce water consumption in these sectors, given the growing global concern over water scarcity and sustainability. They formed Dracoss in 2021 to address this problem with the creation of a greywater machine. The machine provides a way for restaurants, homes, and gyms to reuse greywater, which is water that has been used in sinks, showers, and washing machines, for irrigation or other non-potable uses. This helps to reduce the overall water consumption in these sectors, making them more sustainable. The formation of Dracoss and the creation of the greywater machine demonstrates a strong commitment to addressing the pressing issue of water scarcity and promoting sustainable practices.

Impact on Underrepresented Groups:

Dracoss is dedicated to creating a more inclusive and equitable future for all, especially those who have been traditionally underrepresented in the climate movement. Our team is made up of diverse individuals from different backgrounds, including women and people of color, who bring unique perspectives and experiences to the table. This diversity allows us to better understand and address the needs of climate vulnerable communities, and to create solutions that are more inclusive and accessible.

In particular, our greywater machine is designed to empower communities that have been disproportionately affected by water scarcity and environmental degradation. By reducing water consumption and promoting water recycling, we are helping to mitigate the impacts of climate change and ensuring that communities have access to clean, reliable water sources.

In addition to the direct impact of our technology, we also strive to empower underrepresented communities through education and outreach. By raising awareness about the importance of sustainable water management, and by providing resources and support, we aim to build a more inclusive and engaged climate movement.

Ultimately, our goal is to create a future where everyone has the opportunity to live in a healthy and sustainable environment. By empowering underrepresented communities and promoting equitable access to resources, we believe that we can help to build a more just and resilient world.
