Project Summary / Description:
The purpose of the project is to bring together the highest impact climate solutions with the generation with the most at stake. After the great success Earth Overshoot has had in engaging with students and faculties screening its environmental documentary at universities and schools around the world, our college campus campaign is a natural expansion by expanding the modalities we use to reach students as well as deepen the information and increase the number of tools that tens of thousands of young men and women can use directly in their lives to have the biggest impact when fighting climate change.

Impact on Underrepresented Groups:
Earth Overshoot highlights climate solutions that not only reduce greenhouse gasses and restore the environment but champions the role that empowering women and educating girls plays in any successful campaign. We also acknowledge the outsize role that the developed world has played and continues to play in the destruction of our planet ‚ both in its lopsided consumption of resources, subsequent emission of wastes and its failure to allow for the developing world to achieve an equitable quality of life based upon our planetary resources. By offering information and ideas that students can use without the endorsement or approval of governments, traditional hierarchical institutions and technocrats, and benefits the ones who act with a better quality of life ‚ socially, economically and environmentally, the playing field is in this regard leveled.
