Impact on Underrepresented Groups:
As a social enterprise, EFK supports both economic and gender diversity. EFK works with 6000 BoP smallholder farmers to provide additional income and to engage in sustainable farming practices that increase their farm yields. 75% of these farmers are women and youth. Additionally, EFK has a strong internal gender policy - 30% of staff are women and we have a formal gender policy to promote impartiality and gender equality.
