Project Summary / Description:

We are a social enterprise established to address the challenges of plastic waste pollution, waste management, deforestation and climate change. We recycle plastic waste and transform them into plastic lumber. Plastic lumber is an affordable alternative to wood timber; this reduces the need for building materials manufactured from wood. Hence helps to preserve forests by lowering deforestation rates and decreasing the effects of climate change by preventing waste burning in the landfills. Plastic lumbers are ideal product for building, construction and furniture making.

We generate reliable employment opportunities for individuals mostly youth and widow women, who manage the collection and the sorting then, sell to us. We have currently provided direct and indirect employment to 87 people and by the 3rd year of operation, we aim to create 300 direct and over 500 indirect jobs.
