How Project Affects Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions:
We offer free science-based education programs (containing digital videos, lesson plans, quizzes, discussion prompts and activities) for students and community members ages 12+ discussing the impact of food choices and our food system on planetary health (in three languages). We have a proven success rate of ~50% in empowering participants to reduce meat and dairy intake resulting in the reduction of GHG of over 156,000 tonnes annually and growing!

Impact on Underrepresented Groups:
At Educated Choices Program, a diverse team is a very important organizational value. We are also committed to providing a safe and inclusive workplace for all. We are a woman led organization who knows the strength and passion of a woman on a mission to make the world a better place! On top of that, our programs are specifically geared to empower young people to take a stand and make a difference. We inspire them to step up and be the leaders of tomorrow that our planet so badly needs. We also have recently developed video presentations that allow us to reach some of the most rural food desert areas with our message to ensure that climate vulnerable communities have access to the information that can lead to impactful change in their regions and worldwide.
