Nigeria has a population of over 180 million. 0ver 95 million of these people live without access to electricity and 65% of these people live in rural areas. Nigerians have been forced to turn to inefficient, expensive, noisy and polluting diesel/petrol generators for domestic and commercial needs. The Entric Community Minigrid Program was formed to provide communities, especially those in rural areas, with offgrid solar systems that will provide clean, affordable and reliable electricity for these communities.
