Project Summary / Description:
EQuota is building a Smart Energy Management System - EQuotaInsight‚Ñ¢ to provide sustainable low-carbon solutions through saving energy-related costs and reducing CO2 emissions. EQuotaInsight‚Ñ¢ is facing customers throughout the energy circle, including utilities, grids, commercial buildings, industrial buildings, and public service buildings. Our motivation is to help our customers reduce energy cost, minimize energy decision risks and entre the newly developed Chinese carbon trading market. By gathering data and combining with our leading-edge real-time analysis, EQuotaInsight‚Ñ¢ provide energy consumption and anomalies monitoring, power demand prediction and management, and building operation (e.g. Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) optimization services to improve energy efficiency, lower energy costs, and reduce CO2 emission. EQuotaInsight‚Ñ¢ also has integrated carbon model, for our 2B customers to track, monitor, audit, and manage their carbon emission and fulfil their Corporate social responsibility (CSR) on sustainable development. Carbon measurement is critical for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification, which is one of the most popular green building certification programs used worldwide. Carbon emission measurement is also fundamental for business to play in the Chinese carbon trading market, which is a Chinese government regulation way of carbon emission, and utilize their carbon emission quota. EQuotaInsight‚Ñ¢ has been developing and upgrading for 2 years. EQuotaInsight‚Ñ¢ 3.0 is officially launched on March 2018. We have an expert team working on this project, which is made of serial entrepreneurs, China electric market veteran, field experts in smart grid, power systems, data science, and information technology from MIT.

We see AI and Big Data as the key solution that transforming energy systems and emission challenges. EQuota aims to help energy intensive enterprises, utilities, and public administrators to reduce energy cost, minimize energy decision risks, and enter the newly developed carbon trading market. Carbon reduction target can be achieved by improving energy efficiency and shifting economy from its traditional dependence on heavy industry to less energy-intensive sectors. We target to efficiently distribute energy resources and enable more clean and renewable options, reduce energy waste, and optimize energy demand. We believe the deregulation of the energy market will not only be a profound transformation for our country but has the potential to affect the global environment.
