Project Summary / Description:
As a company-movement promoting the reduction of Environmental Footprint, raising the Environmental Dignity through; training, management and social responsibility standards, all this among a network of companies and organizations, developing a sustainable and regenerative economy. ¬∑ To instill the self-regulation culture, socio-environmental certification and continuous improvement in Mexico, instead of just auditing our users, we work hand by hand with them. ¬∑ The project was developed from the need of many caribbean-mexican-american companies of own and implement social responsibility and sustainability standards as an emerging culture towards 2030 ¬∑ Our launching project‚ action was releasing the first Environmental Standard to Quintana Roo (Mayan Riviera, Cancun, Tulum, Playa del Carmen and Bacalar) taking as base the legal framework around all environmental norms, such as waste, gasses, water, soil and subsoil, impact, energy efficiency, risks and protection, biodiversity, and for sure the wildlife. This standard measures 12 criteria and more than 280 indicators. It was created by Eukariota¬Æ but endorsed by the Mexican Environmental Protection Agency and the State one as well. Additionally, it was made public and free on different platforms such as My World Mexico and UN SDG Action Campaign #GlobalGoals, so aprox. 63,000 companies existing on Quintana Roo may now reach the most of it and be autoregulative. This turns out our presentation letter to the world, nowadays we are managing a network of hundreds of organizations in Mexico as well as design and implement multiple socio-environmental management standards.
