Project Summary / Description:
Our innovation is a hybrid power system for electricity generation and supply for rural communities, this system is also designed to help farmers who are growing seasonal plants to have access to 365 days a year‚ access to water supply through our irrigation system. Goals for the initiative Increase food production in rural communities by using our irrigation system to enable all-year-round access to water for food production use recycle materials to develop a hybrid power system of windmills & solar systems for rural electrification Reach vulnerable communities, especially sierra Leoneans living below $1.2 a day, and provide them with the most affordable electricity solutions. combating climate change by developing no-carbon emission renewable energy solutions that help increase clean energy

How Project Affects Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions:
Replaces/avoids GHGs (e.g., projects that replace sources of GHGs, such as the burning of fossil fuels for electricity, heat, transport, or other energy uses)
Best Estimate of GHG Avoidance/Reduction of This Project (Tonnes CO2 Equivalent/Year):
Impact on Underrepresented Groups:
We l work ed closely with the locals to design and build the hybrid wind-solar system. In order to boost productivity and the amount of time spent running the business, we work with women-led businesses to achieve a successful operation on their business site. Electricity installed at youth and business centers, schools, and other locations where community members including persons with disabilities reside or operate businesses. We provide sustainable solutions, such as cell phone charging stations and facilities for agricultural production, that young people use electricity productively. Moreover, to enable students to study at night and enhance their academic performance, the project would supply power installation in educational facilities such as schools.

Mission Statement:
The hybrid initiative of windmill & Solar power is bringing electricity access to the doors of isolated rural communities by harvesting electricity using the sunlight and wind, it works day and night, during dry or rainy seasons under any weather condition. The system is designed partially from materials we sourced locally parts such as blades, towers, and metal parts, we manufacture them using recycling materials, through which we promote local content in solving the electricity and low food production challenge. The installation and maintenance of The hybrid initiative of windmill & Solar system are easy and can be done by a community member after going through our training or maintenance.
