The Climate Change Workshop for Young People is a capacity building project that aims at empowering young people with the knowledge and skills to enable them tackle climate and environmentally related issues in their schools, and to educate their peers, family and the community at large.

Mission Statement:
GERAS CAMEROON’s mission is to ensure that humankind lives in harmony with the other living and non-living components of the environment. GERAS CAMEROON envisages a World in general, and Cameroon in particular where every human being is conscious about his or her role in environmental protection. GERAS CAMEROON works in carrying out massive sensitization on the need for environmental protection, and partnering with like-minded organizations to share ideas. GERAS CAMEROON has had work experience in three Regions of Cameroon (SW, NW and Center) with Primary School Children, Secondary School Students, Government Agencies, Councils, other Non Profit Organizations and the local community in the domain of environmental education and conservation actions. GERAS is going nationwide especially with its special consultative status with ECOSOC.
