The Ghana Climate Innovation Centre (GCIC) is a pioneering business incubator with a unique focus of developing small to medium enterprises in Ghana‚ Green Economy. Our mission is to support an exceptional set of transformational ventures that pioneer adaptive and mitigating solutions for climate change. We do this with a focus on five key economic sectors (energy efficiency & renewable energy; solar power; climate smart agriculture; domestic waste management; water management and purification), the provision of premium business advisory and business mentoring services, technical support in the development, prototyping and testing of their innovation, as well as financial Proof of Concept grants to qualifying SMEs within our incubator.

Gender diversity: The GCIC is a woman-led organization, and emphasizes gender diversity through the Women Entrepreneurs Transformation Programme (WETP). The WETP is a six months programme for women entrepreneurs aimed at unleashing the untapped potential of female entrepreneurs. Half of GCIC's fifth cohort are female. 
Economic diversity: GCIC promotes inclusive green growth. It actively seeks entrepreneurs from all regions of Ghana and all economic profiles, ensuring that the just transition to a green economic will create jobs and social benefits for all.
