Himalayan Rocket Stove designs, makes and sells clean burning high efficiency combustion devices that reduce demand on forests, pollution in the air and release of carbon. Our range is focussed on space heating for the Himalayan regions, where 20 million homes are dependent on wood for heating the home for around half the year.

We employ our team from predominantly mountain regions who are comprised various castes, religions and genders. Our team has women in key roles, sales members from lower caste, workers from Hindu and Muslim backgrounds. Our products are designed to reduce drudgery by halving fuel load, which is typically wood sourced by women and children in lower income families.
