Project Summary / Description:
The purpose and basic principles of conservation agriculture techniques 1. Minimum tillage by making planting holes, trenches and planting grooves This system will be able to accommodate rainwater as much as possible for planting needs of 2 - 3 planting seasons, and the soil conditions remain moist and fertile. 2. Planting of cover crop, intended to maintain soil moisture, inhibit weed growth, increase organic N elements in the soil through the activity of Nitrogen Bacteria in legume root nodules 3. Intercroping planting system, betwen legume and non legume increasing income through 2-3 commodities at once in one planting season. The main crop production increases because it gets an organic N supply from the roots of legume plants, The chain of pests and diseases is severed.

How Project Affects Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions:
Reduces GHGs (e.g., projects that reduce sources of GHGs, such as through efficiency or other changes in consumption)
Best Estimate of GHG Avoidance/Reduction of This Project (Tonnes CO2 Equivalent/Year):
Impact on Underrepresented Groups:
he social and women benefits of the Conservation Agriculture Field School project are A. Public knowledge about climate change and how to deal with it has increased B. The role of women in the agricultural sector is very important and tends to be maximal, because there are many stages of work that can be carried out by women's groups, including the activity of applying manure in each planting hole, planting cover crops, applying organic mulch, to harvesting activities. From the activities of implementing conservation farming methods, it is certain that the role of women is up to 80% of the totalactivity in the field

Mission Statement:
The "Conservation Agriculture Field School" activity was attended by 40 farmer groups in 4 villages namely Bulian Village, Evidence Village, Pacung Village and Julah Village, with a total of 800 farmer members participating. The four villages are known as areas that are dry and economically and socially poor. This cannot be separated from the limited water resources for farming. So that the agricultural sector which is the people's livelihood becomes neglected and increases unemployment and crime. CAFS activities started from the socialization stage in the form of meetings with members of farmer groups, village government and community leaders in the 4 villages where the project was located. The socialization provided is in the form of material on the introduction of climate change, ways of adaptation and mitigation of climate change,
