MUV is an innovative startup and benefit company founded in 2020 after a Horizon 2020 research and innovation project that allowed us to co-design and test with citizens of more than 20 European cities a solution to stimulate more conscious daily mobility choices and build more sustainable habits over time.
MUV offers a digital service to improve urban mobility through a game that encourages a change of habits towards more sustainable choices and, at the same time, collects valuable data for the mobility plans of schools, companies and cities. It consists of a smartphone app and a mobility data analysis and reporting service, with a specific section dedicated to the impact of CO2 emissions reduction calculated through a certified algorithm.

MUV aims to reduce traffic and pollution by acting on the individual behaviour of citizens and using the game as a lever to encourage more conscious and sustainable mobility choices and stimulate a change in daily habits.
Through the mobile app, the interface through which users play, it is possible to track one's sustainable trips and calculate one's impacts. One of the objectives of MUV is to produce a concrete and measurable impact in terms of CO2 savings.
In particular, we designed and tested a methodology to estimate the CO2 savings generated by users moving sustainably and tracking their trips through MUV. This
calculation algorithm has been validated and certified by RINA.

MUV was born free and open to all. Anyone can download the app, track their sustainable travel and measure their daily impact. Anyone can become an absolute champion of sustainability and in turn push their community to play, move better and save the world.
