Project Summary / Description:

1. The project is implemented to prevent environmental deterioration, to avoid construction errors and to forestall economic losses caused by vehicle gas emissions. Natuf in cooperation with the Gaza City Municipality used to maximize benefits as well, primarily by considering alternatives that might save energy and reduce the CO2 emissions, particularly on the main streets such as AlRashid street in Gaza City, as a way of developing the main roads in the city to facilitate the movement of individuals and bi-cycles instead of vehicles use.

The project encourages the whole community members to fulfill their hobbies, practice sports and make daily work movements, especially for those who are considered as low-income persons, as well as, boosts the culture of riding bicycles safely without the need for expensive vehicles. Moreover, it allows pedestrians and bi-cyclists freely move without any potential risks, for the project allocates special lanes for them.
