This envisaged project is to promote climate smart agriculture through the production, promotion and distribution of best practices to increase productivity of organic agriculture and contribute to mitigation of global warming, food insecurity at large in general and produce and distribute 100% organic liquid fertilizer to be used by farmers in Ethiopia and elsewhere in Africa.
Specifically, this project will solve the problem of pollution created from inorganic and toxic materials and production of carbon dioxide. It is also in favor of good nutrition, health and environment.

How Project Affects Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions:

The product of Eco Green which is organic liquid fertilizer reduces the impact of greenhouse gas emission (GGH) by substituting the application of chemical fertilizers with our innovative product. Our innovative product improved soil health by increasing the microbial activity in the soil, leading to better nutrient cycling and soil structure. Our Product also has environmental benefits, and the product is toxic-free and environmentally friendly and reduces the risk of water contamination and damage to natural ecosystems. The project also works with smallholder farmers to enhance their intake of organic liquid fertilizer and promotion of climate smart agriculture practices. Generally, the project is highly focused on promotion of the organic liquid fertilizer utilization by smallholder farmers, commercial farmers and others. Our company is not only focusing on enring of profits but also working of safeguarding of the environment for the future generation. We are passionate about sustainable farming and protection of the environment.

The agriculture sector is the most significant sector of the country's economy. The majority of the population's livelihood depends on the agricultural sector and crop production is also the basis of livelihoods for the majority of the population. The livelihood of smallholder farmers is highly challenged by the impact of chemical fertilizer and other climate change phenomena. The project will work to with smallholder farmers in solving in the supply chain of fertilizer problem in Ethiopia. It also addresses the problem of fertilizer delivery system using an innovative marketing modality. The project will organize and build the capacity of agricultural input dealers at district levels which are nearer to the smallholder farmers. They easily deliver to farmers at their respective locations. The project contributes for improvement of productivity of farmers, protection of soil health and environment, create decent jobs for agricultural dealers and others.
