Project Summary / Description:
The premise to form our company and pursue this technology was to try and replace carbon materials used in rechargeable batteries that today are derived from heavy fossil fuels based carbons, with biomass based, renewable graphene. We undertook substantial research into biomass based, renewable carbon that exhibit special qualities. Laboratory work was undertaken at the University of British Columbia to determine and quantify, qualities such as energy density and capacities. We have formed a strong team with wide range of business and scientific knowledge in order to be well rounded and knowledgeable.
