Impact on Underrepresented Groups:
The water logs communities where water hyacinth usually invades are predominantly fishing community, they can't go for fishing because of the large mat of water hyacinth, and the presence of water hyacinth doesn't allow the fishes to breed well, therefore, we provide means of livelihood to the community by employing them to evacuate and upcycle the invasive aquatic weeds, and also to be able to go ahead on their fishing work.
