Project Summary / Description:
With the provision of a real time monitoring systems for our Solar PV installations, we would be able to pull clean data from the operating parameters and then provide credible and real time actionable insights to our customers. The customers then act on these insights to ensure they derive maximum benefits from their renewable energy systems over its expected lifespan.

Impact on Underrepresented Groups:
It has been well established that in order to drive change in societal behaviour and habits, women are key catalysts to the actualization of any desired change. Hence women have a significant role to play if the world is going to achieve the desired reduction in carbon footprints. Our project supports the economic empowerment of women and vulnerable groups in the following ways: Provision of remote monitoring services for our solar pv installations enables us to understand various productive ways in which electricity benefits women owned enterprises. We are also able to use the data obtained from remote monitoring of solar installations to be able to give feedback on best use of the renewable installations in order to derive maximum value for money. Provision of remote monitoring of our solar pv installations especially in rural areas enable us to power various gender friendly activities such as water pumping and enabling provision of standard healthcare services even in rural areas. Provision of remote monitoring of solar pv installations especially in rural areas also enables us to ensure that these installations are maintained in order to prevent breakdown and even product failures before their expected lifespan. Keeping these systems perpetually working reduces the stress on women as they do not need to trek long distances or even spend more money in sourcing for alternatives.
