Project Summary / Description:

Pure Algae (PA) have developed a controlled and space optimized facility (VALUEFARM) for climate and environmentally friendly cultivation of seaweed that allows mitigation of CO2 emissions and other harmful substances. PA has developed Denmark‚ first land-based commercial system, a disruptive seaweed-based process water treatment system for land-based fish farms. It will provide fish farmers with an automated system to transform nitrogen (N), phosphorous (P) and CO2 into a revenue stream using a modular, scalable and cost-effective system providing ideal conditions for climate-friendly farming of seaweed. We enable local and organic production on a global scale and of the highest quality.

When we have our completely developed system it will be fully automated and can be controlled by everyone and all around the world. We aim to create a work environment where every type of person can work. We want to promote gender equality in the leadership within the field. 

Our VALUEFARM system is closed and controlled and because of that we can ensure a production of seaweed independent of climate and weather. With our system we can ensure a stable and healthy food source and the system can be used in climate-vulnerable communities.
