The project's purpose was to assess the performance, energy consumptions, GHG emissions, and the cost-effectiveness of the PIRANHA‚Ñ¢ HC system, a specialized water-to-water heat pump that recovers energy directly from wastewater and uses it to produce domestic hot water.
