Project Summary / Description:

Skipit is on a mission to allow everybody to travel like a local in a new city. Thats why we are building a global and digital smart card to simplify public transport options for international travellers and tourists. 

As travel begins to slowly return we want to leverage the worlds second biggest industry to be a force for good and allow visitors to leave a positive footprint on a destination.

Our main target group is 16-35 years old international travellers, Amongst this target group we see 3 current trends: 

1) Fight climate change. 
2) Travel like a local 
3) Experience authenticity 

Through Skipit we empower a community of travellers who are helping each other to go visit local neighbourhoods of a city, and travel on sustainable transport modes whilst doing so. In the process tracking their C02 savings and creating an understanding of their footprint.
