Skyven Technologies is pioneering the Skyven Arcturus line of industrial steam-generating heat pumps. These industrial heat pumps capture low-temperature heat rejected from industrial processes, increase the temperature of that heat (as high as 400°F), and use it to generate steam at the same temperature, pressure, and quality of existing on-site boilers. The existing boilers remain in place as backup to provide system redundancy. By decreasing, or even eliminating, the workload of existing boilers, Skyven Arcturus reduces natural gas usage, significantly lowering on-site CO2 emissions from industrial steam. Skyven Technologies is a vertically integrated energy-as-a-service and proprietary technology company with a mission to decarbonize industrial process heat. We work with manufacturers in hard-to-decarbonize industries to reduce onsite CO2 emissions by delivering clean, emissions-free process heat at prices lower than natural gas. Skyven installs our latest decarbonization technology, including the Arcturus line of steam generating heat pumps, with no capital expense or process disruption for the manufacturer. Skyven monitors carbon emissions in real time and bills only for the clean energy delivered by our systems. We provide dashboards showing real-time data-backed savings and carbon metrics.

How Project Affects Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions:
Our crosscutting decarbonization technology electrifies steam production and reduces loading on existing natural gas boilers, cutting steam-related carbon emissions by an average of 75% at industrial manufacturing facilities. By decreasing, or even eliminating, the workload of existing boilers, Skyven Arcturus reduces natural gas usage, significantly lowering on-site CO2 emissions from industrial steam.
