Project Summary / Description:

Spare-it was created by friends who share the same environmental concerns about pollution and the amount of waste generated each day on earth and felt an urgency to do something about it. In order to change people's behaviors, they developed the first connected scale that seamlessly tracks the waste generated each day, originally designed to help families reduce their waste at home through an app. Encouraged by the great feedback and results they obtained among families, and intending to increase its scope, Spare-it decided to expand the solution to businesses. The goal is to become a sustainability catalyst within the workplace by helping organizations to reduce their different waste streams and take sustainable initiatives.
