Project Summary / Description:
Stable Solar was founded December 18, 2018 by Greg Sellers, a long-time solar industry leader who spent over a decade driving the adoption of residential solar quality standards and overseeing the servicing of thousands of home solar installations. Greg founded the company because he saw a significant need to provide services and resources to home solar owners. Stable Solar has pioneered the development of Membership and Service Plans focused on providing resources and peace of mind to home solar owners. Stable Solar has serviced hundreds of home solar installations and has customers across the U.S.

Impact on Underrepresented Groups:
Stable Solar has actively sought and cultivated traditionally underrepresented individuals across all activities. Two of the company‚ three largest investors are women, staffing has always included women and or people of color, and the company has sought out and promoted subcontractors from traditionally underrepresented groups. We are applying for a Keeling Curve Prize grant to enable us to solidify partnerships with non-profits that actively train and seek employment for people who live in climate vulnerable communities, are traditionally underrepresented and who have had limited access to the training, support and resources required to successfully transition to a career in the clean economy. We will provide those individuals with additional training, employment and opportunities to grow and flourish in the rapidly growing home solar services industry.
