Project Summary / Description:
Motivations: 1. short useful life and long lifespan of plastic 2. underperformed reverse supply chain and value loss of plastic waste 3. high dependency on scarce, virgin and primary raw material and resources 4. GHG emission from the incineration technology distributed and closed-loop recycling, upcycling and manufacturing 5. raise awareness of plastic pollution The existing activism on plastic collection shall continue and our solution takes it from there. The 1st plastic waste we use is coloured and colourless PET. Zero-carbon Magnetic Smart Processes are substituted for existing incineration technology. Our 1st product is raw materials for 3D printing. Our solution is extended to product development and production at a later stage, using 3D printing technology, in order to help endorse and accelerate plastic cleanup. Direct connections with potential partners in plastic waste collection, Magnetic Smart Processes and 3D printing within Europe have been established since the 4th quarter of 2017. While sourcing PET waste in the 1st year of launch, we are planning a test with our partner to also process other non-PET plastic wastes through Magnetic Smart Processes. A database will be developed simultaneously to diversify partners and end users along the reverse supply chain. This includes potential partnerships across all continents. Connections with potential partners in South Asia, East Asia and South East Asia have been initiated since the 4th quarter of 2017.

GHG emission from the incineration technology v. lack of awareness of plastic pollution Mission statement / value proposition: Unlocking the value of reverse supply chain through: i. full utilisation of plastic waste stream as a source for raw materials ii. elimination of the incineration technology and introduction of Magnetic Smart Processes iii. introduction of secondary raw material into the economy iv. production using 3D printing technology v. empowerment of stakeholders in a zero-carbon circular economy Currently, only colourless PET plastic wastes are fully recycled. 1st milestone - we are sourcing both colourless and coloured PET wastes to produce our 1st product - secondary raw materials specifically for 3D printing. 2nd milestone - we are planning a test with our partner to also process non-PET plastic wastes through Magnetic Smart Processes. 3rd milestone - we produce our 2nd product using 3D printing technology. This will be further upscaled through a database of diversified partners and end users. The ultimate objective is a circular solution that is zero-carbon.
