Project Summary / Description:

We are developing a flexible franchise model for local farms. As we build our first location, we are documenting every income stream and partnering with other successful farms to expand our library. Instead of charging a franchise fee, we intend to invest in new farmers by matching their funding. We‚ ll work with them on market research to identify the best income streams for their location and provide them with the documentation for those streams. In exchange, 5% of their profits will be paid back to the parent company each year, and every 5 years they‚ ll help to start another new location. In this way, the network will expand exponentially over time.

Our mission is to make local food the norm. We are doing this by documenting and systematizing small, sustainable, regenerative farming techniques and income streams so we can offer a turnkey model to aspiring local farmers that will enable them to start new farms that are quickly producing and profitable. Our goal is to make small, sustainable farms the default means of food production globally.
