Project Summary / Description:
The Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, within the framework of its sustainability strategy, designed a Sustainable Mobility Plan as a measure that promotes the development of an integral management of air quality and mobility, in search of sustainable transport habits at work and contribute to the reduction of emissions of atmospheric pollutants. The objective is to provide sustainable mobility strategies that are consistent with the socio-economic characteristics and evaluation of the workers' site and promote activities that increase the culture of sustainable mobility. This is done through four components: Active mobility, rationalization of the use of private vehicles, integration with the public transport system and generation of culture.

Impact on Underrepresented Groups:
The city of Medell n has a great problem associated with the emissions of pollutants associated with vehicles, the University has around 20,000 young students who benefit from sustainable mobility strategies, providing, among others, better air quality, greater safety for travel and encouraging good health through initiatives such as walking and cycling. The objectives for the implementation of the mobility plan are: 1. Define the sustainable mobility alternatives that allow to contribute to the reduction of the impacts generated by the displacement of students and employees of the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana. 2. Offer sustainable mobility alternatives. 3. Adopt habits that impact sustainability and generate changes in the organizational culture. 4. Promote sustainable mobility strategies in the university that allow the reduction of pollutant gas emissions generated in the displacements.
