Vistella Ltd aims to be the leading expert in active and passive cooling systems for solar panels. This is achieved by innovation in manufacturing, fluid dynamics, and symbioses solutions like installation on bodies of water or agriculture. 
Middle Eastern countries have recently opened up to the prospect of green energy by offering lucrative feed-in-tariffs. With clear skies and long daylight hours in the regions, this generates great opportunities. However, environmental factors lead to very high operating temperatures that decrease the efficiency of panels. We manufacture our technology in this region in partnership with local companies.

The Middle East and especially Iran, have been historically solely dependent on fossil fuels for energy. This has had some significant implications on the economy in that region and the governance. Being economically shut-off in many ways in the last decades the development into renewable energy sources like in Europe has not happened yet. Climate change is a challenge that affects the whole world and solutions should be implemented where it has the biggest impact on our ecological footprint, independent of international politics. 
Helping Iran to become less dependent on oil and other unsustainable energy sources will help to improve their environment and will reduce the dependency of their economy on fossil fuels which in turn will reduce the power local governments have on their economy and reduce corruption and discrimination in their usually autocratic governments. Bringing business in manufacturing to the community will create value and raise local wealth. 
By putting a focus on symbiotic effects with other sectors, we can offset negative environmental effects, e.g. protecting water reservoirs by reducing evaporation by covering them in solar panels or reducing the overall irrigation by covering agricultural land.
