The lack of accurate real-time data on ESG risks and climate change carries significant impacts on the financial performance of assets & threatens infrastructure & climate adaptation, while leading to disclosure gaps, misreporting and greenwashing. WeavAir got started by a team of passionate engineers, computer scientists, lawyers and financial industry professionals, who identified a massive untapped opportunity to better protect corporations and governments against climate & ESG risks. Natalia Mykhaylova spent the last 10 years working as an engineer to develop a new sensor system to monitor and reduce emissions while making the operations safer preventing incidents using predictive analytics. She discovered a lot of need for such a system in the market when interviewing potential customers, which inspired her to build a strong team and start a company.

WeavAir solutions can offer direct advantages to traditionally underrepresented in the climate movement and increase decarbonization. We can apply the AI software to our existing sources of data without any physical installation requirements to track and model changes in emissions, operations and climate risk. This would provide an opportunity for the public and private sectors to save costs on maintenance and operations of utilities, buildings & transportation while tracking the impacts of switching to biofuels and renewables and optimizing demand response controls integrated with storage, heat pumps and building systems. It has an advantage in that it can be easily scaled to support under-represented and low to moderate-income populations. WeavAir team is working on several ongoing projects to help financial institutions, asset owners and decarbonization solution developers to easily implement solutions and financing leading to the highest ROI in achieving carbon footprint reduction goals.
