Project Summary / Description:
The purpose of this project is to introduce long-term measures aiming to reduce the amount of anthropogenic (human) emissions of Green Houses Gasses that have posed a major concern in contributing to climate change and variability that has negatively affected both livestock and crop productivity.

Impact on Underrepresented Groups:
The relevance of this action in as far as adaptation is concerned will be through urging farmers implement practices/ technologies that will allow the crops cope with the current environment. Such practices/ technologies will involve planting crops in basins which will keep moisture during the periods of droughts, planting in rip lines that do minimum soil disturbance plus more technologies. In addition, to that suitable crops varieties will be selected to be planted by the farmers.The selected farmers will at least include thirty percent (30%) women headed, ten percent (10%) youth headed households and 5 % physically challenged household to foster inclusivity.
