While increasing greenhouse gases threatens virtually every life, present, and future, the communities that we work with in Colorado disproportionately shoulder the burden of large polluters and our country's legacy of environmental racism. 
350 Colorado’s theory of change is engrained in the idea of “Movement Building” - which is organizing and empowering the community to work towards a shared vision. Our organization is built on the premise of including all voices and empowering individuals to be leaders across the climate movement, especially those from frontline communities. This concept is grounded in our work and is the foundation shared among all of our coordinators, staff members, volunteers, and activists. Engaging over 20,000 people across the state a year, 350CO is committed to meaningful community involvement as we build a movement to ensure a livable future for ALL.

We strive to grow, listen, and learn together as we fully acknowledge there is still work to be done within our organizing spaces. Our goal is not simply to shift to renewable energy and stop gas and oil polluters, it’s to build a just and equitable society and we can’t do that without the expertise of those most affected by the climate crisis.
