Impact on Underrepresented Groups:
We empowering women in traditional charcoal production to transition to charcoal briquette production contributes significantly to the inclusivity of the climate movement. Historically underrepresented groups, including women, people of color, and vulnerable communities, often bear the brunt of environmental degradation. By providing these women with the tools and knowledge to adopt sustainable practices, we will address social and environmental justice. Firstly, this our initiative is to break gender barriers in a sector where they are traditionally marginalized. As primary caregivers, their involvement ensures the broader well-being of families and communities. Secondly, by promoting cleaner energy alternatives, we will mitigate the disproportionate impact of climate change on vulnerable communities, fostering resilience. Moreover, involving youth in this transition engages the next generation in climate action, encouraging environmental stewardship. This multifaceted approach not only reduces carbon footprints but also uplifts those traditionally sidelined, making our climate efforts more inclusive, impactful, and reflective of the diverse voices needed for meaningful change.
