The Beating Plastic Pollution Project (BPPP) runs on a model where segregation is done at source and later aggregation of all collected plastics. At this juncture the women and youths organised in groups known as Community Based organisations (CBO's) step in and ensure sorting, weighing and onwards delivery to a recycler we are in partnership with. This has gone a long way in creating the much needed green jobs within the community and empowering these community groups with skill sets in understanding climate action especially the dangers of plastic pollution.
