. In Sub-Saharan Africa, where chicken keeping is predominantly led by women (over 70%), we recognized the need to include them in our initiatives. When we started working with farmers, we would negotiate with the men and train them on how to use our equipment. We realized however it was the women who would call seeking support and clarification on how to use the product and ask for market linkage. The women would also insist the money from sales should be deposited to them. Since those days,even if the men enqiure, we ensure the women are included in training to reduce support cases. 
In 2019, we were honored by the Kenyan Ministry of Youth and Gender for our work in empowering women and were speakers at Kenya's National internal Women's day celebrations where we showcased our work

Our impact extends to supporting women's businesses by increasing efficiency through precision farming, resulting in a 20% boost in profit margins. Additionally, we're addressing the challenge of attracting youth to chicken farming by eliminating the fear of failure due to lack of experience, ultimately encouraging their involvement in agriculture.
