The aim of this project is  to address the following challenges in the access to the voluntary carbon market;
Lack of Awareness and Information.
Difficulty in Project Development.
Serious hurdles in access to climate financing.
Measurement and Verification Challenges.
Limited Market access by our target groups.
Regulatory and Policy Barriers.
Poor adaptation to climate-related disasters.
 Lack of reliable and traceable carbon credit data to be used in the voluntary carbon market.

Addressing these challenges, our initiative focuses on creating opportunities for small-scale fishermen and coastal communities along the Kenyan coast. By tokenizing their efforts in combating climate change, we aim to empower them in the following ways:

Asset Securitization: Enabling secure pre-production and post-harvest assets to enhance productivity and reduce post-harvest losses.

Industry-Standard Project Development: Assisting in the creation of projects that adhere to industry standards, attracting diverse resources and revenue streams.

Financial Mobilization: Facilitating the mobilization of both public and private finance to support the needs of small-scale fishermen and vulnerable groups.

Grant Finance and Incentives: Establishing a platform that connects these communities with last-mile industry players, providing unrestricted grant finance and incentives.
