Beyond Animal was founded by a women and it numbers more women than men in its organisation. Removing methane in particular from the environment is essential to avoid tipping points that place under threat the most vulnerable communities. Agriculture is the largest contributor to methane emissions and animal exploitation is the largest part of that. Connecting entrepreneurs in developing countries with capital is also part of our aim, i.e. financial inclusion.

Our mission is to bridge the gap between innovative plant based food tech and engineering companies and the
capital needed to bring them to market and make them successful, with the aim of reducing animal exploitation,
greenhouse gas emissions and biodiversity loss, and ultimately create a more sustainable world.
