Our project empowers traditionally underrepresented groups in the climate movement, notably women, by addressing menstrual hygiene, a crucial yet often overlooked aspect. Women, particularly in marginalized communities, face challenges accessing sustainable menstrual products. Merapad Cloth Pads made of Bamboo Charcoal Fabric provide an inclusive solution, acknowledging diverse cultural practices and preferences, empowering women to adopt environmentally friendly menstrual hygiene practices comfortably. Moreover, by involving women in the production, distribution, and promotion of these pads, our initiative creates economic opportunities, fostering empowerment and financial independence.

Additionally, our focus on sustainability resonates with climate-vulnerable communities, as reducing single-use plastic waste aligns with their environmental concerns. By educating and providing access to eco-friendly menstrual products, we bridge gaps in understanding the intersectionality of women's health, the environment, and social equity. Furthermore, our efforts aim to engage youth through educational programs, encouraging them to embrace sustainable practices early and become advocates for climate action within their communities. By catering to diverse needs and perspectives, our project strives for inclusive participation and empowerment within the climate movement.
