CERT has committed to the 50-30 Challenge, a commitment to improving the diversity and inclusion in our organization by seeking to have on the boards and senior management: gender parity (50%) and significant representation (30%) for other under-represented groups. Our founding team and current board of directors includes members of racialized groups (50%) and women-identified individuals (50%). We have implemented an EDI policy and training program which describes our strategy to create a working environment free of discrimination, attract a diverse pool of talent and perspectives, and create measurable targets to be assessed regularly to identify areas for improvement.


Since 2021, CERT Systems has directly employed 22 people to work on the technology, including 10 co-op students and interns. The training and support of the next generation of cleantech scientists and engineers is of great importance to the leadership team.
