Choto contributes to Zimbabwe's economy through energy provision and employment generation. So far we have 7 factory workers that are on call whenever we have a special order for briquettes. We hope to expand our factory and therefore employ more than 50 employees, upon scaling up. 

My Zimbabwean community yearns for affordable and accessible energy. There are rampant power outages as the National grid is unable to continuously provide power required for domestic and industrial needs. Unlike what 'google' shows, the unemployment rate is beyond staggering. The streets have become a dangerous drug-infested black hole. Crystal Methyl, a deadly drug, has taken thousands of youths. Zimbabweans have become popular emigrants, migrating to South Africa for sustenance and healthcare.
As a leader, my contribution is to improve the economic situation through employment provision and promotion of local products usage and exportation. The youth are the powerhouse, once they are kept from idleness, development is inevitable. Biomass is abundant and affordable to meet most agricultural and heating needs.
