CCI's Civic Diplomacy Program connects stakeholders from across the world to intergovernmental policy processes. This includes: Producing briefing notes based on stakeholder input; Providing training and education to allow citizen advocates to align local and national organizing with international policy processes; Advanced training on the United Nations Climate Change negotiation process, co-hosted with The Fletcher School at Tufts University; Engagement with the Carbon Pricing Leadership Coalition; A toolkit for local engagement in national and global climate policy (https://good.ctzn.works/toolkit); The Climate Value Exchange (climatevalue.net) supporting participation in policy processes leading to climate-smart trade, finance, and development, including through the Capital to Communities approach (resilienceintel.org/capital), with an emphasis on converting climate vulnerability (without investment response) into climate value (with the benefit of cooperative policy and investment response); An ongoing community of discussion to connect diplomats, observers, and stakeholders, through the People’s Pavilion digital platform (peoplespavilion.net).
