Impact on Underrepresented Groups:
Energy literacy is a human right. Energetic equips communities, especially those on the frontlines of climate impacts, with the knowledge they need to both lead, and benefit from, the energy transition. We are making the game free to low income communities and schools. We believe the educational tools for energy literacy must be made with the people who have borne the brunt of the impacts from climate change foremost in mind. We are a member of the Climate and Resiliency Education Taskforce (cretf.org), founded on the principles of environmental justice and equity: equal access to accurate information is the basis of equity in the energy transition.

Mission Statement:
We developed a cooperative game to teach anyone in the US, and then around the world, how to solve climate change with accurate, updatable info: https://www.nytimes.com/2023/04/21/nyregion/earth-day-energetic-game.html Our vision is in agreement with the National Academies finding that public education is the way to enable rapid decarbonization: https://nap.nationalacademies.org/read/25931/chapter/8
